Roxanne is a metalsmith and award winning designer from Toronto, Canada. Throughout her life she has been surrounded by the arts, studying at Canada's National Ballet School and achieving a BAH in art history from Queen's University. It was in 2007, while living abroad in Mumbai, India that she discovered her passion and talent for designing and making jewellery.
Roxanne studied at the Gemmological Institute of India and was given the award for the best jewellery design portfolio from the Forum of Indian Gemmologists. Upon returning to North America she earned a Graduate Bench Jeweler’s diploma from the New Approach School for Jewelers in Virginia and studied at Metalwerx School for Jewelry and the Metal Arts in Massachusetts. Roxanne now lives and works in Toronto. Inspired by the beauty of line in art and nature, Roxanne’s work is diverse, creative and all handmade. She enjoys shaping and forming metal to produce jewellery that is versatile and one of a kind. Whether using the simple shape of a swirl or constructing the complex form of a leaf, her work is striking and unique, yet remains classic and elegant. |
